As a Hungarian, I find it exciting when platforms that I work with daily become available in Hungary. Salesforce Basecamp Budapest was a great opportunity to see that in person and meet representatives of the Hungarian market.
On Wednesday 16th October I attended Salesforce Basecamp Budapest for the second time, and it was amazing to see the growth compared to last year. Robin Fisher – Senior Area Vice President of Emerging Markets at Salesforce – mentioned that over 1,000 people registered this year. This shows how businesses in Hungary recognise the importance of Salesforce and are starting to take steps towards benefiting from the platform.
Salesforce Basecamp Budapest took place at the Buda Castle Garden Bazaar right by the Danube river. The spacious location welcomed hundreds of attendees, including potential and existing customers, partners and of course Salesforce employees.
World Tour, which I have attended a few times, focuses on announcing new features across the platforms, whereas Salesforce Basecamp Budapest educated people about the capabilities of the platforms. Hungary is part of the emerging markets division at Salesforce, which makes this an instrumental step in introducing the platform to customers. First, customers need to become confident users and then they will have endless opportunities to learn more about Salesforce platforms.
That is to say, Salesforce offers events at many sizes across the whole globe, whether that is Basecamp or World Tour. Take a look at their regular offerings and attend the next one near you!
